Girls in Aviation Day Singapore (GIAD), an annual event established in 2015 by the Women in Aviation International Singapore Chapter, is dedicated to inspiring girls aged 8 to 17 to explore exciting career opportunities in aviation and aerospace.
This year, Women in Aviation Singapore is excited to celebrate its 5th Girls in Aviation Day, anticipating the participation of 400 – 500 girls along with their parents, teachers, sponsors and partners on November 1, 2025 at Temasek Polytechnic from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm GMT+8.

Since its launch in 2015 by Women in Aviation International Singapore Chapter, the annual flagship event has been empowering young girls aged 8 to 17 to dream big and explore the boundless opportunities in aviation and aerospace. This event is designed to ignite curiosity, foster innovation, and inspire the next generation of aviators, engineers, and leaders.
On October 19, 2024, we celebrated our 4th Girls in Aviation Day at Temasek Polytechnic, marking a milestone with over 500 attendees, including 350 girls aged 8 to 17—a record-breaking turnout! The event was made extraordinary by the support of over 30 organizations and a dynamic half-day program filled with hands-on, educational activities. From exploring the Aviation and Aerospace Journey to building DIY airplanes, experimenting with drones and aerodynamics, and experiencing flight simulators, the girls had an unforgettable day of learning, fun, and discovery.
