Background
Since its launch in 2015 by Women in Aviation International Singapore Chapter, the annual flagship event has been empowering young girls aged 8 to 17 to dream big and explore the boundless opportunities in aviation and aerospace. This event is designed to ignite curiosity, foster innovation, and inspire the next generation of aviators, engineers, and leaders.
On October 1, 2025, we celebrated our 5th Girls in Aviation Day at Temasek Polytechnic, marking a milestone with over 900 attendees, including 423 girls aged 8 to 17—a record-breaking turnout! The event was made extraordinary by the support of over 25 organizations and a dynamic half-day program filled with hands-on, educational activities. From exploring the Aviation and Aerospace Journey to building DIY airplanes, experimenting with drones and aerodynamics, and experiencing flight simulators, the girls had an unforgettable day of learning, fun, and discovery.
