To further support our vision and the advancement of women in aviation, we are excited to announce the launch of our scholarship program for undergraduate degrees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Aviation studies. Scholarship Spotlight

Trudy Teo
Trudy Teo is a third-year Aerospace Engineering student at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), where she is also pursuing a second major in Data Analytics.
Her passion for aviation was sparked early on when she began learning about aviation incidents. This curiosity, combined with her experience in the robotics club during her secondary school years, ignited her desire to pursue a career in aerospace engineering.
Throughout her time at NTU, Trudy has actively sought out opportunities to enhance her knowledge and skills in the field. She has gained valuable research experience in aerodynamics and computational fluid dynamics, which has further solidified her expertise and love for aerospace engineering.
In addition to her academic achievements, she also completed a professional internship in the aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) industry, gaining hands-on experience that helped bridge the gap between theory and practice.
After graduation, Trudy plans to continue her journey in the aviation industry, leveraging her background in both aerospace engineering and data analytics to contribute to innovative developments in aviation technology.
Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Trudy enjoys listening to music, playing the piano, and indulging in her passion for plane spotting, further fuelling her love for the skies.
Trudy’s story is a testament to the endless possibilities that await young women in the aviation and aerospace industries.

Rica Angelina
Rica Angelina is an ambitious Aerospace Engineering undergraduate at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), driven by a passion for aviation and a desire to make a difference in the aerospace industry.
Her interest in aviation was ignited at a young age when she was captivated by a fictional aerospace engineer character who not only sparked her imagination but also inspired her to reach for the skies.
This early interest has evolved into a deep-rooted passion to pursue a career in aerospace and advocate for greater representation of women in STEM.
Rica is not only committed to her academic pursuits but also actively engages with the mission of Women in Aviation, seeking to connect with professionals who share her enthusiasm and vision for a more inclusive and diverse industry.
As she hones her leadership skills, Rica strives to create meaningful change within the field, paving the way for future generations of women in aviation.
Outside of her studies, Rica enjoys building intricate Lego sets, a hobby that reflects her love for design, problem-solving, and attention to detail. She also values physical activity and maintains balance in her life by playing badminton, a sport that keeps her grounded and active.
After graduation, Rica hopes to leverage the knowledge and skills she has gained throughout her education and organizational experiences to contribute to the growth and advancement of the aerospace industry.
