WOMEN IN AVIATION SINGAPORE CHAPTER CELEBRATES THE FIRST GRADUATES OF THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Singapore, 15 February 2024 – Women in Aviation Singapore Chapter proudly announces the successful culmination of its inaugural mentorship program with the first graduation ceremony. This milestone event reflects the organization’s commitment to empowering and advancing women in the aviation industry.

The graduation ceremony took place on February, 15th at the office of Morgan Lewis Stamford LLC, bringing together mentees, mentors, and esteemed guests to commemorate the achievements and growth fostered through this impactful program.

The mentorship initiative, aimed at fostering professional development and mentor-mentee relationships, has provided a platform for women in aviation to share knowledge, insights, and experiences. The program’s success is evidenced by the accomplishments and enhanced skills of the graduating mentees.

The WAI SG Mentorship Program is our first flagship programme we launched when we started. Today we are incredibly excited to be celebrating our 1st batch of Mentors & Mentees graduation. We believe strongly in our Mentors who are C-Suite leaders, deeply connected in the aviation ecosystem who are matched with our WAI SG members. Thank you to each and every one of you who made the commitment to be involved in our program.” said Lou-Ann SEET, President of Women in Aviation Singapore Chapter.

The ceremony featured speakers from the aviation industry, highlighting the significance of mentorship and the positive impact it has on career progression. Attendees also had the opportunity to network and celebrate the achievements of the first cohort.

Woman in Aviation Singapore Chapter extends its gratitude to all mentors, mentees, and supporters who have contributed to the success of this program. The organization looks forward to building on this foundation and continuing to empower women in aviation through mentorship and community engagement.
